2026 Serpent Meets
Time Trials
On Saturday June 6, we host our annual Time Trials. During Time Trials, all swimmers on the Stonegate swim team (not pre-team) report to Stonegate at 8 am for warm ups (unless noted otherwise on Serpents ENews email). Coaches determine which events each Serpent will swim at Time Trials. This Time Trial meet allows all Serpents the chance to get a “time” for their events. GO FAST!
For Time Trials, please meet at Stonegate by 8 am at the latest (unless noted otherwise). Time Trials begin at 9 am.
Saturday “A” Meets
WHO: The names of the Serpents who will swim at each week’s Saturday “A” meets are posted on the Thursday prior to each meet on the bulletin board at Stonegate and published to the Swimtopia app.
WHERE: For Away meets, please gather in the parking lot at Stonegate at the designated time. We will caravan to the Away meet site together!
WHEN: Exact times are communicated ahead of each meet in the Serpents eNews email and on Swimtopia. But you can expect that warm-ups will begin at 8:00 am or earlier. The meet usually start at 9 a.m and last until 11:30 am or later.

Saturday July 18 -- Divisionals (Location TBD)
Sat-Sun July 25-26 -- All-Stars (Relay & Individual) at Rockville (355 Martins Lane, Rockville, MD 20850)
Results for “A” meets are posted on the wall during the meet, in Swimtopia and on the MCSL website here.
*The Relay Carnival is a meet consisting of relays exclusively. Relay teams will be posted to the bulletin board and Swimtopia prior to the Relay Carnival.
Wednesday “B” Meets
WHO: The names of the Serpents who will swim at each week’s Wednesday “B” meets are posted on the Monday prior to each meet on the bulletin board at Stonegate and published to the Swimtopia app.
WHERE: Serpents report to the Wednesday evening meet locations. We do not caravan to Away Wednesday “B” meets.
WHEN: Exact times are communicated ahead of each meet in the Serpents eNews email and on Swimtopia. Typically, warm-ups are at 5 p.m. and meets kick off at 6 p.m.

Wednesday July 15 -- Blue vs. White Meet at (Intramural Meet at Home)
Results for “B” meets are posted on the wall during the meet, and in Swimtopia.
MCSL All-Star Info + Meets
Each swim event at each age level has an “All-Star” time. These are motivational times - something to strive toward! The baseline All-Star nominating times are listed here.
Each Summer, MCSL hosts two meets for the top ranked All-Star individual swimmers, Coaches Long Course (top 8) and Individual All-Stars (top 16). They also host a relay team meet called All-Star Relays. (The Relay Carnival is where the majority of relay teams can qualify for the All-Star Relay Meet.) More information on these meets are below.
Coaches Long Course
The top 8 MCSL swimmers in each event are invited to Coaches Invitational Long Course. The meet will be held at the Rockville Swim and Fitness Center, 355 Martins Lane on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 starting at 6:00 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, a rain date will be determined.

All-Star Relays Meet
The MCSL All-Star Relay Meet will be held at the Rockville Swim and Fitness Center, 355 Martins Lane, on Saturday, July 25, 2026. Our Section (Section I) will begin at 7:00 a.m. The facility will open at 6:00 a.m. There is no rain date for this meet.
Individual All-Stars
The top 16 MCSL swimmers in each event are invited to Individual All-Stars. This meet will be held at the Rockville Swim and Fitness Center, 355 Martins Lane, on Sunday, July 26, 2026. Warm-ups will begin at 7:00 a.m. and the first Event will start at 8:00 a.m. There is no rain date for this meet.
